DATA ANALYTICS DELIVERY

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Backlog of reports& dashboards since development took an average of 9-12 months and were cost-prohibitive

BEFORE: Waterfall methodology meant detailed requirements had to be gathered prior to handing off to development team

AFTER: Holistic approach by combining requests and pioneering a Hybrid-agile methodology with  a lean team with complimentary skillsets at a optimized cost structure

RESULTS: 13+ dashboards in 9 months at an average cost of $10K and average delivery time of 3 weeks with a team of 4 serving 300+ users globally resulting in a cost savings of at least $500K/year, 90% improved productivity and high job satisfaction

BLOCKED INVENTORY

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Increase in blocked (defective & expired) inventory and lack of standardized process globally for opening Defect notifications & disposition

BEFORE: Multiple hours spent by different teams at each site doing data gymanastics extracting data verus focusing on value added activities

AFTER: Material Review Board dasboard provided a One-stop shop clearly defining processes & accountability globally

RESULTS: Blocked Stock value dramatically reduced by 30%, less than 1% stock blocked wthout a Defect notification, Turnaround time improvement and Root-cause analysis enabled for continuous improvement

MANUFACTURING

PROCESSES

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Incorrect raw materials and components used in manufacturing resulting in low manufacturing efficiency

BEFORE: Lack of error proofing and manual processes bringing  materials to the staging area in preparation for he manufacturing process

AFTER: Implemented tablets, barcode scanning and smart alerts to prevent errors and ensuring materials used in manufacturing  were part of MBOM

RESULTS: Improved productivity, reduced waste & downtime and high employee satisfaction
