BLOCKED INVENTORY
PROBLEM STATEMENT: Increase in blocked (defective & expired) inventory and lack of standardized process globally for opening Defect notifications & disposition
BEFORE: Multiple hours spent by different teams at each site doing data gymanastics extracting data verus focusing on value added activities
AFTER: Material Review Board dasboard provided a One-stop shop clearly defining processes & accountability globally
RESULTS: Blocked Stock value dramatically reduced by 30%, less than 1% stock blocked wthout a Defect notification, Turnaround time improvement and Root-cause analysis enabled for continuous improvement

BEFORE: Lack of error proofing and manual processes bringing materials to the staging area in preparation for he manufacturing process
